The upcoming model is expected to be called the P7 Ultra, signaling a more performance-focused addition to Xpeng’s lineup. It will likely feature a dual-motor system, positioning it above the current P7+ in both power and price.

Right now, the P7+ is available in three rear-wheel drive versions, with prices ranging from about $25,700 to $29,200. These versions offer up to 725 kilometers, or roughly 450 miles, of range and can go from 10 to 80 percent charge in just 12 minutes. The higher-end variants can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in under 6 seconds.

Xpeng has had success with recent launches—the Mona M03 has seen nearly 96,000 deliveries since August, and the P7+ is already at 50,000 units produced just five months after its launch. The company has committed to launching new or refreshed models every quarter through 2025, as it aims to cover vehicles priced between $14,000 and $70,000.
