You Can Now Take Your PMP Exam Online! (PMI Update May 2020)

Due to COVID-19, Pearson VUE testing centres were forced to close. PMI announced that the PMP and CAPM exams have moved online.

It will still be a closed book exam and there will be a live proctor to watch you during your exam.

There are a few key differences between taking the exam in person and online. Here are some:
- You will not be able to take a break whenever you want to (there's a scheduled 10 mins break half way through the exam)
- You will now be able to take the exam from the comfort of your home
- You are responsible for ensuring that you have great wifi connection
- You cannot take the PMP or CAPM exam online without a webcam
- You will not have the 2 scrap pieces of paper available at Pearson VUE testing centres. You will have an online whiteboard to draw on instead. This is similar to MS Paint. Yes, you do need to draw with your mouse.
