Miami-Dade Transit Metrorail Green Line, Full Ride, Palmetto to Dadeland South, Hitachi Rail

Riding Miami-Dade Transit Metrorail Green Line (or Miami Metrorail Green Line) Southbound (train model: 2017 Hitachi Rail) from Palmetto to Dadeland South. Green Line travels between northwest of Miami and southeast of Miami. It always passes by Downtown Miami and Brickell.

Frequency (as of 2023):
- Monday-Friday (morning/afternoon rush hour) is every 10 minutes.
- Monday-Friday (midday) is every 15 minutes.
- Monday-Friday (late evenings) is every 30 minutes till closing.
- Weekends is every 30 minutes

Fares: The full fare to ride this train is $2.25 (as of 2023).

Opinion: Miami Metrorail is great, fast and convenient. I wish Miami-Dade County would expand this heavy rail all over Miami (including Miami Beach). On the weekends, the frequency is terrible because the train runs every 30 minutes. That is a long waiting time for a train and discourages me to take the train...I think I'll take Uber/Lyft. Imagine if you miss your bus connection if the train runs late. Hopefully Miami-Dade Transit continues hiring more operators so the frequency can drastically improve. More frequency, the more riders will be encourage to ride.
