What were you up to in 1984? The Southern Upland Way is 40 years old and we want your stories.
The Southern Upland Way was officially opened in April 1984. To celebrate this we would like to tell the story of the route and of the people who use it. If you have been on the route at any point in the last 40 years we would love to hear about it. Did you walk the route? Cycle it? were you involved in creating the route 40 years ago? Did you meet anyone interesting while on the path.
We will use the stories that we get to create a history of the people who have explored the trail so if you would like to share your adventures then get in touch. Just comment below, put a post on our facebook page or email me at southernuplandway@dumgal.gov.uk.
