My male Blue and female Gold Ram Dwarf Cichlids

I have a pair of Blue Rams (Mikrogeophagus ramirezi) and they had been doing fine. That is until the other day when I noticed the female was exhausted and somewhat malnourished. I removed the female Ram and placed her into my other freshwater setup where she rested and ate as much as she needed. She's doing much better.

However, my male become stressed without his female companion. He would act skittish and pace the walls of the tank. So I decided to get him a friend, a Gold Ram (xanthistic strain of M. ramirezi), and this is him and her. He's doing much better also.

They're all scheduled to be placed into my new 70 litre tank that is now cycling. Will upload a video of that tank soon (as well as another tank, 180 litres, for a new cichlid addition to the family).
