Lyrics:

It was a dark and stormy night
And the rain came pouring down
It was a dark and stormy night
And the rain cams pouring down

Searching for my baby
But my baby can not be be found

I walk the streets past midnight
Until the break of day
I walk the streets past midnight
Until the break of day

Looking for my baby
And the love he took away

I saw his car pass by
And he was with another girl
I saw his car pass by
And he was with another girl

He broke my heart in two
People, you know just how I feel

(( instrumental ))

They said he killed a stranger
But I knew that was just a lie
They said he killed a stranger
But I knew that was just a lie

Because he swore to kill my husband
And stay with me til the end of time

Thanks to Josh Headrick

Blue Largo was formed by guitarist Eric Lieberman and vocalist Alicia Aragon in 1999.Blue Largo has always been a traditional 1940’s / ‘50’s era blues band, specializing in covers by such artists as Billie Holiday, Dinah Washington, Louis Jordan, T Bone Walker and Julia Lee. Eric never considered himself a songwriter, but has rather always focused on paying tribute to the great artists whom he loves so much. However, he jotted down a few ideas over the years, which he and Alicia revisited when they decided to record their current album, and lo and behold, “Sing Your Own Song” contains seven original songs, which the band is most proud of and excited about! These original songs deal with life’s big issues…….. the challenges, despair, hope, perseverance, and ultimately prevailing! Music wise, the record contains everything from Louisiana swamp grooves to gospel, rhythm and blues, jump blues, sensual ballads and lowdown acoustic country blues, and Blue Largo is ready and rearing to bring it all to their live shows.

For his feature debut, twenty-four-year-old Louis Malle brought together a mesmerizing performance by Jeanne Moreau, evocative cinematography by Henri Decaë, and a now legendary jazz score by Miles Davis. Taking place over the course of one restless Paris night, Malle’s richly atmospheric crime thriller stars Moreau and Maurice Ronet as lovers whose plan to murder her husband (his boss) goes awry, setting off a chain of events that seals their fate. A career touchstone for its director and female star, Elevator to the Gallows was an astonishing beginning to Malle’s eclectic body of work, and it established Moreau as one of the most captivating actors ever to grace the screen.
