Pet opossum handling techniques

Sorry about video quality guys and gals but anyway here it is. In this video I demonstrate the proper ways of handling and picking up a pet Virginia opossum. The ways I demonstrate may be different than others of course but these are just ways I found work best for me and my family. Using these techniques have not once put me in a bad relationship with my opossum, they have never caused her to snarl or show teeth and that’s what I’m trying to help prevent with anyone new to owning a pet opossum.
