Surfboard Lost in Hawaii Found in the Philippines
A man’s surfboard washed out to sea, only to be found two years later 5,000 miles away! Surfer Doug Falter lost it in Hawaii’s Waimea Bay. He was hoping it would wash up on shore somewhere nearby, so he put out a call on Facebook letting people know he was looking for it. It did eventually find its way to a beach, but not near Hawaii. A fisherman in the Philippines found it and sold it to a teacher named Giovanne Branzuela. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
