Dynamic Simulation of an Excavator Track chain in MSC Adams
In this video I have shown the Multi Body dynamic simulation result of the Excavator Track Chain/crawler. This simulation has been performed using MSC Adams MBD software without the use of any Track-chain plugin. The geometry used is a simplified model of the sprocket and chain.
The physics of the simulation yields realistic results such as contact forces and body acceleration.
