Government is facing pressure over Christmas coronavirus rules

Talks between the four nations of the UK over the relaxation of coronavirus rules for Christmas are set to continue as political calls for a rethink due to rising infection rates grow.

Cabinet Office minister Michael Gove spoke with the leaders of the devolved administrations on Tuesday evening ahead of next week's planned easing of COVID restrictions.
