3-31-1994 at halftime of Lakers at Sonics. A lot of fans say, "Oh, well, Magic sucked as a coach." However, that's a dumb position to take when you look at the team he inherited. They weren't goin anywhere. Mix of ancients and youngsters. Buddha Edwards, Danny Schayes, Worthy and Rambis fer Crissakes. You really think they were gonna be worldbeaters? No. They were who we THOUGHT they were! And besides, the same critics act like Magic was meant to stay there like Riles. He was an interim stick-in, nothing more, nothing less. 1994 was a tough season to watch as a fan. That's why everyone around in those daze loves the 95 squad. It was a Renaissance squad for us after that 1994 shitshow.
