England qualify for the 1982 World Cup

Reaction to England qualifying for the 1982 World Cup finals following a 1-0 win over Hungary in November 1981. Two months earlier England looked out of the running but results involving other teams in the group unexpectedly went in their favour to enable them to reach their first finals since 1970 (as they were hosts in 1966 and holders in 1970, they hadn't qualified on the field since 1962!).
