[Eng-Recipe] How to make Walnut Cookies (核桃酥〔合桃酥〕)

材料及份量:中筋粉(Plain flour /all-purpose flour)80g、低筋粉(cake flour / soft flour / low protein flour)80g、發粉( baking powder)2g、黃砂糖(brown sugar)80g、蛋(egg)1隻、已溶化固體菜油(veg. fat)80g、核桃碎(chopped walnut)50g、核桃仁(walnut)適量。
做法:先將粉類篩勻加入糖拌勻,加入蛋及菜油拌至沒粉粒後加入核桃碎畧搓勻,分等份做型放入焗盆中,放上核桃仁掃上蛋黃液,放入已預熱之焗爐中以180°c焗15-18分鐘至金黃色,取出待凉後才享用更酥脆可口。
Ingredients: Plain flour/all-purpose flour 80g, Cake flour/soft flour/low protein flour 80g, Baking powder 2g, Brown sugar 80g, one egg, Vegetable Fat 80g, Chopped walnut 50g and Pieces of walnut.
Instructions: Sieve the plain flour, cake flour and baking powder into a bowl then add the brown sugar and mix together, add the egg and melted vegetable fat and mix it all together until there are no lumps and a dough form. Add the chopped walnut and mix together, finally roll out the dough into a round shape and place a piece of walnut on the top (you can put a layer of egg on the top of the cookies for a shiny texture. Preheat the oven for 15 minutes then bake for 15-18 minutes at 180°c.
