SINGLES VS ALBUMS - which is better for an independent band?? [ft Dan Tsurif]

Many of you guys have asked whether new bands should focus on singles or albums.

And while I'm always happy to give my opinion, I also asked my friend Dan Tsurif to weigh in on the question of singles vs albums.

He is VP of Artist Management and Digital Strategy at Mercenary Management where he works with artists including Black Veil Brides and Zakk Wylde (as well as Zakk's ventures like Valhalla Java and Wylde Audio), and was formerly Director of Digital Marketing at Sumerian Records-- so he's a good guy to listen to :)

We discuss whether it's better for independent bands to focus on releasing singles or albums and what the keys to success are when you're trying to cut through the noise.
