I needed to test run some cars that I had either recently converted to body mounted couplers or I have just upgraded to the new AAR E-type kadee and I wanted to check out their performance. What a better loco to use than my Reading 2-8-8-2 Mallet. I had also just painted the wheels on the big Mallet a flat black so of course that needed to be tested, too.
