We made 1940s outfits for our family vacation!

Thank you for watching, "We made 1940s outfits for our family vacation!" We chose this decade because it was big on using what you have and making it work. We wanted outfits that suited the warmer climate we are visiting while on vacation and we felt like the 1940s checked a lot of boxes we needed to check to safely costume The Baby and remain sustainable.

All of the zippers and buttons can be found in our "Sewing Haul" video, although they are not all from the 1940s they are all vintage and were bought from a craft donation site. Some of the fabric was shopped from our fabric stash, The Baby's Shoes and Dionysus' shorts were found at Goodwill. The suitcases were a lucky find from different thrift stores and are actually being used while we travel.
