“The Ministry of Health's Information Center has recorded the martyrdom of 413 citizens, including 78 children and 41 women. Additionally, there have been 2,300 injuries, including 213 children and 140 women. The Information Center has also documented eight Israeli violations against Palestinian families and has registered eight massacres up to this moment.“

STORYLINE:
The Palestinian Health Ministry on Sunday updated its death toll to 413 people, including 78 children and 41 women, since Israel began its retaliation on the Gaza Strip following the Hamas-led across the border.

Spokesperson Ashraf al-Qedrah added the ministry had also recorded 2,300 injured people, including 213 children and 140 women.

Israel formally declared war and gave the green light for “significant military steps” to retaliate against Hamas as it continued to hit Gaza with airstrikes.

More than 24 hours after Hamas launched its unprecedented incursion across the heavily fortified border, Israeli forces were also still trying to defeat the last groups of militants holed up in several towns.

At least 700 people have reportedly been killed n the Israeli side during the latest violence.
