Incredible HULK POUNDSTONE Destroys STRONGMAN!

FLASHBACK! USA's Derek POUNDSTONE is quite possibly the best Strongman never to win a WORLD's STRONGEST MAN title. In 2009 at Mohegan Sun, POUNDSTONE was at the peak of his career. The World Number 1 destroyed the field winning 5 out of 6 events and broke the Apollon's Axle Press (415lb) WORLD RECORD - not once but twice - in the same evening.

It was back-to-back wins at Mohegan Sun for POUNDSTONE, having beaten 5-time WSM winner, Mariusz PUDZIANOWSKI in a close contest in 2008.

The Connecticut cop was runner up to Mariusz Pudzianowski in an agonising finish to the - 2008 World's Strongest Man Final - when he dropped the last Atlas Stone when in a commanding position.

He currently still serves as a police sergeant in Connecticut and is also trainer to World's Strongest Man finalist Rob KEARNEY.
