The Time Lord and the Halfblood Prince

a character study comparing my two favorite characters ever, the Doctor and Severus Snape.

Severus: "I'm the Halfblood Prince."

The Doctor: "I'm not just a Time Lord. I'm the last of the Time Lords."

Severus: "It may have escaped your notice, but life isn't fair. Your blessed father knew that. In fact, he frequently saw to it."

The Doctor: "That's my friend."
"She's gone."
"I lost her."

"In the end, you just get tired; tired of the struggle; tired of losing everyone that matters to you."

"The only certainity left is that you'll end up alone."

As much as I wish I owned these two brilliant, gorgeous men, tragically I do not. A girl can dream though. :-)
