2010年10月18日16:40に恩賜上野動物園から京都市動物園に到着したゴリラのモ
モタロウが，今年で在園満11年となり，ゲンタロウはモモタロウが来園した時の
年齢である10歳を迎えます。そこで，モモタロウが来園した際の受入の様子やゲ
ンキとの同居・交尾の様子を御紹介するページを開設しました。

飼育日誌より
2010年10月18日　恩賜上野動物園からモモタロウが来園しました。
　来園に向けて、事前に飼育担当者を恩賜上野動物園に派遣し、モモタロウとコミュニケーションをとることで、来園後のストレスを減らすよう取り組みました。
　また、到着前に、対応する職員で受入作業のシミュレーションを行っています。
　そして、午後4時40分に到着。ケージ内で暴れたりしましたが、17時過ぎに，滞りなく室内に収容しました。当初は、室内でやや落ち着かず歩き回っており，白菜は与えてもすぐに食べませんでしたが，ミカンを食べ，スポーツドリンクも飲みました。なお，出発前に右肩に傷，右手第２指の爪がはがれ，移動の間に，右目上に傷を作りました。その後，特に異常は認められなかったため，18時で観察を終了しています。
　この日は，夜間も蛍光灯をつけたままにしておきました。

Excerpt from observation record
On October 18, 2010, Momotaro from the Ueno Zoological Gardens arrived at the zoo.
　In preparation for the visit, we dispatched a keeper to the Ueno Zoo in advance to communicate with Momotaro in order to reduce stress after his arrival.
　Also, prior to arrival, the corresponding staff members simulated the acceptance process.
　Momotaro arrived at 4:40 pm. He was very excited in his cage, but after 5:00 p.m., we brought him inside without delay. In the beginning, he was a little restless and walked around in the room, and did not eat Chinese cabbage immediately even though we gave it to him, but he ate a tangerine and drank a sports drink. In addition, before he left, he had a scratch on his right shoulder, the nail on the second finger of his right hand came off, and during the move, he made a scratch above his right eye. After that, no abnormalities were observed, so the observation was terminated at 18:00.
　On this day, I left the fluorescent light on during the night.
