2010年10月18日16:40に恩賜上野動物園から京都市動物園に到着したゴリラのモ
モタロウが，今年で在園満11年となり，ゲンタロウはモモタロウが来園した時の
年齢である10歳を迎えます。そこで，モモタロウが来園した際の受入の様子やゲ
ンキとの同居・交尾の様子を御紹介するページを開設しました。
　映像は公式Youtubeでの御視聴となります。御興味がございましたら，この機
会に10年前の来園当初のモモタロウ，ゲンキの様子をご覧いただければと思います。

飼育日誌より
0008F（ゲンキ）および0014M（モモタロウ）の同居。
　午前9時20分～午前9時50分：西グラウンド使用，ゲンキがモモタロウに激しくアピールし，2回程マウントし交尾。
　午前9時50分～午後1時20分：中央グラウンド，交尾。後背位から正常位と変化したが，正常位時はインサートできていないと思われる。
　午後1時20分～午後3時30分：寝室1～2番およびシュート，モモタロウが短く鳴き，交尾に至ったが，ゲンキが離れた後も短く鳴き，痙攣していたため，射精はしていないと思われる。
　午後4時30分～夜間：本日夜間同居を行う。

Excerpts from observation records
Genki and Momotaro living together.
9:20 a.m. - 9:50 a.m.: Using the west field, Genki appealed to Momotaro violently, mounted and mated twice.
9:50 a.m. - 1:20 p.m.: Mating in the center field. They changed their position from Doggy Style to Normal, but I don't think they were able to insert during Normal.
1:20 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.: Bedrooms 1, 2, and connecting corridor, Momotaro made short cries and mated, but did not ejaculate as he continued to make short cries and twitch after Genki left him.
4:30 p.m. - Night: Lived together at night today.
