Carving Fire Agate~ Tutorials a guide for beginners

Hello again,

This is a piece of Mexican Fire Agate from Aguascalientes Mexico. The top layer has brilliant Colors, but there's a small fracture so I am checking the next layer down to see if it's going to be more productive. Sometimes you have to cut a little window in a corner and see what other potential colors you might have to work with.

After using a small coarse wheel to rapidly peel away layers I'll determine what layer I want. Then I'll follow just above the bubbles and clear the whole area. Then I'll switch to medium sintered diamond bits to define the bubbles once again. I'll use fine Sintered bits to fix the color layer. Then I'll sand down and begin polishing.

I'm also a Diamond Pacific dealer now, so if you are looking for some Sintered bits, Nova points, polish or something else; please check out the Diamond Pacific catalogue online at diamondpacific.com then email me at mark.ruiz.fireagate@gmail.com with your part numbers. I've ordered a bunch of stuff and will be putting together starter kits for beginners.

Please remember to be safe and take regular breaks to stretch your hands and all. I'd really appreciate it if you would Like and Subscribe too! 🙂
Thanks again!
