2003 SALISBURY SIZZLER GRASSTRACK

This is one of those meetings that should have been a real corker with the top class entry the club had, but after a very long spell of sunshine, track conditions were very dry from the start. With riders such as Trevor Banks, Paul Cooper, Dave Rumsey, Martin Williams, Jason King, and Justin Elkins in the entry for the 500cc Solo's, and in the 1000cc RH Sidecars, Ivor Matthews, Myles Simmons, Dave Steer, Rob Wilson, Matt Tyrrell, and Duncan Tolhurst. But sadly they were fighting the dusty conditions right from the off. So making a good start was imperative. Filming became very difficult also. Hopefully it will still bring back some memories for those who watch the meeting.
