We take a fully charged 2020 Hyundai Kona Electric and drive it at a constant 70 mph, all the way down to 1% state of charge, to see how far it will go.

The 2020 Hyundai Kona Electric has a 64 kWh battery and an EPA-rated driving range of 258 miles per charge. We find out how close to the EPA range rating the Kona Electric can get when driven at a constant 70 mph.

We set the tires to the manufacturer's recommended 36 psi
The temperature was 70 degrees when we began and 79 degrees when we finished
We had the A/C on and set to 70 degrees the majority of the drive
There was a slight crosswind of 4-6mph for most of the drive
We checked the speedometer's accuracy at 70 mph via GPS and it was correct
