Russian Army Parade, Red Square 1995

On 9 May 1995, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War Russia started to have military parades once more. On Red Square there was a special parade of war veterans, followed by the next generation of Officers and Soldiers. Special foreign guests included several world leaders (including US President Bill Clinton). Taking the salute is retired Marshal of the Soviet Union Viktor Kulikov. Commanding the parade is retired General of the Army Vladimir Govorov. Music performed by the Combined Orchestra of the Moscow Garrison conducted by Lieutenant General Viktor Afanyasev.
