126 Days without my Jeep

My Jeep Wrangler JLU started making a terrible sound in the rear axle area so I took it up to Outlaw Offroad for repairs. Well, actually, I told them to just gut the whole axle housing and replace everything...chromoly axle shafts, CavFab truss, Revolution 5.13 gears (to replace my Dana Spicer 5.13s that 4 Wheel Parts had installed incorrectly) and the best of all, the new Ox Locker for the JLs.

That last decision turned what would have been a 3-4 week job/wait into 126+ day saga of epic suffering. Spoiler alert: I still don't have it back in this video.

Also, I want to be clear that in no way is Outlaw at fault here for the long wait. I insisted on getting the new-to-market Ox Locker despite their recommendation against it. Ox Locker was waiting for weeks on parts from their supplier before they could even build mine. Ox sending the wrong cable with the locker didn't help things either. The moral of the story is don't be early adopter.
