PSP Leong Mun Wai take up K Shanmugam's challenge to file motion on CECA

In Parliament on Tuesday (11 May), K Shanmugam, Minister for Law and Home Affairs has challenged the Progress Singapore Party's NCMP Leong Mun Wai to debate the India–Singapore Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CECA).

"I'm looking at you, Mr Leong, I invite you to put up a motion to debate CECA. You know that most of what is said about CECA is false."

In reply, Leong Mun Wai stressed that the PSP is concerned with the deal's economic impact on Singaporeans, and the party willing to take up K Shanmugam's challenge to file a motion on CECA.
