REAL & RAW first 24 hours after the HOME BIRTH of our daughter , Snow!
After a quick, intense, and emotional birth (see video linked below), I wanted to share the first full day with a newborn after delivering at home. Sharing the delivery of the placenta, dealing with postpartum cramps / contractions , breastfeeding baby for the first time, revealing baby’s name, family reaction, siblings meet for the first time, baby meeting the dog, and even some placenta artwork and rituals :)
I feel so lucky to have experienced the most perfect positive unmedicated birth, in my own home with the perfect birth team. A team which *I* chose, and have supported me throughout the entire process.
I hope this footage, of me and my family, will help understanding what to expect after a home birth, and the early postpartum stage...
I am so happy I was able to film this special day which I will cherish forever ♡
