Living with the Changpas - Trailer

A short preview of what is to come from my new series. Living with the Changpas.

I had planned to spend my entire winter (2 to 3 months) with the Changpas to make this series. But then the ill fated IMF Everest expedition happened and I had to cut short my stay with the Changpas to just 3 weeks.

But still, the 3 weeks gave me enough time to get an insight into their hard lives. Especially with the stormy weather this winter. I even got a chance to witness the migration of the Changpas as they broke camp and shifted to another location.

As amazing as it was, I was not too happy with my documenting work this winter. I had planned to capture more on the spot interviews this time, but that didn't happen. And neither could I record an off camera interview. You'll have to make do with my dull narration for this series.

And to top it all, I lost my ND filter a few days into my trip and I had to film most of the important events without an ND filter. That means using apertures as small as f22, and that inturn means a lot of ugly dust spots ruining some amazing scenes.

Overall I'm quite disappointed with the turn of events this winter. But the show must go on! Always.
