Henry McCullough's death reported on RTÉ News (15th June 2016)

RTÉ News reports on the death of legendary Northern Irish guitarist Henry McCullough, best known as a member of Paul McCartney's band Wings.

A native of Portstewart in County Derry, McCullough also performed with the likes of Joe Cocker and Pink Floyd, and was believed to have been the only musician from the island of Ireland to have performed at the Woodstock Festival in August 1969.

McCullough's career came to an end in November 2012 when suffered a massive heart attack. This left him confined to a wheelchair for the rest of his life, unable to speak or play. He died at his home in Ballymoney in County Antrim on 14th June 2016, aged 72.
