For better or worse, Kid Rock has been a major player on the music scene since the late ‘90s. The rapper-turned-country-star has never shied away from controversy, and it’s only gotten worse in the last few years. When restaurants were forced to close down in March 2020 due to COVID-19, Kid Rock insisted his Nashville steakhouse would stay open, before announcing not long after that it would close. In addition, Kid Rock regularly makes sexist comments about female celebrities, still defends the Confederate flag, and is never afraid to go on an expletive-fueled rant.
