Provisional Crochet Cast On - Two Ways

In this video I show you how to do the provisional crochet cast on for knitting in two different ways. One way is traditional, the other new.

What is the provisional cast on? It is a cast on technique used in knitting where you start out with making a crochet chain. What is wonderful about this cast on is that you can unravel the chain and you have live knit stitches you can pick up later. Really helpful when doing directional knitting or kitchener stitch.
