EL SALVADOR - we're back - 32 hours of travel - La Ceiba to San Salvador [S3-E54]

We've arrived back in El Salvador. It was a long trip from from La Ceiba to San Salvador but we we're very pleased to be back in El Salvador after 32 hours of travel - It was a long travel day.

If you have been following our adventures you will know that we have already visited El Salvador and we had to cut our trip short due to do a family problem back home and our return flight took us to Guatemala.
We were sad to leave El Salvador as we had so much fun and felt we had only scratched the surface of this wonderful friendly country.

As we head to our last few weeks of travel for our Central American series, we were going to slowly make our way to San Jose in Costa Rica, where we get our flight home. However as we travelled we heard that MOST tourists we met , skipped El Salvador because it's dangerous !! We felt so strongly that this was not the case as we LOVED our short time in El Salvador that we decided to spend our last few weeks exploring and filming in El Salvador.

In case you don't know us - let us introduce ourselves - we are Chris (48) & Marianne (51). We are a married travel couple. We recently quit our jobs and sold our belongings to travel full time.

After more than 22 years of marriage we are still best friends
