St. Clair River Marine City February 3, 2021

The St. Clair River North Channel at Algonac experienced an ice jam on February 2, 2021. The south end of the St. Clair River in the flats also had an ice jam! By the morning of February 3, the river was over its banks at Marine City. By 12:30, the river was ice packed!

The river has been running about 44.53” above low water datum. February 3 at 17:54 the water level was 70.7”, an increase of 26.17”!
