MAGICAL Rubicon River Trail | backpacking Lake Tahoe waterfalls in northern California

May 2021. MAGICAL RUBICON. Hiking the Rubicon Trail.
This is a 3 day backpacking trip to amazing waterfalls at Lake Tahoe, hiking on the Rubicon Trail to the Rubicon Cascades on the Rubicon River.
One note: I very stupidly deleted all my video from this trip (except for my Gopro footage). Ugh!
I am an idiot! Well, I decided that I had enough Gopro footage to make a video to at least show all of you what an amazing and magical place this is. The Rubicon River. This place is in the top five of all the backpacking trips I have ever done, as far as most beautiful places I have ever camped. The Rubicon River is incredible in the spring.
So this is not going to be like my usual videos, but you will see what an amazing place this is.
The first half of the hike is on the world famous Rubicon Trail, and the last half is cross country down to the Rubicon Cascades on the Rubicon River.
