A real horror story about a Russian cave cult run by Pyotr Kuznetsov who pretended to be a blessed monk. Penza Recluses aka Penza Hermits (self-name: 'Heavenly Jerusalem') are sometimes called the True Russian Orthodox Church cave cult. Just for reference, this group has nothing to do with the Catacomb Church or True Russian Orthodox schismatic sects. The Recluses is only a small breakaway cult that deemed the (official) Russian Orthodox Church insufficiently orthodox and claimed to be THE Russian Orthodox Church. It is unknown whether this cult is still active to this day, but it is a fact that others exist.
