Fearghal McKinney - Head of BHF Northern Ireland hosts and highlights some of the BHF’s latest news and work taking place across the UK and asks viewer questions to our expert panel of speakers.

Dr Meritxell Nus Chimeno – BHF-funded researcher at University of Cambridge talks about her team’s work into uncovering a link between bacteria present within the gut, T cells, and the development of atherosclerosis (where our arteries become clogged with fatty substances).

Tracy Parker – BHF Heart Health Dietitian discusses why our diet is so important to keep our heart and gut healthy, as well as providing tips and advice on how to maintain a balanced diet.
