War Thunder - The T26E1-1 is my Favorite Heavy Tank

The T26E1-1 is essentially an up armored, up gunned, M26 Pershing. This variant has armor from a Panther welded onto it, giving it even more protection. This things armor can be heavily relied on at 6.3, even 6.7. You'll find yourself commonly bouncing German long 88mm shells. The 90mm cannon on this tank rivals the German 88mm in terms of performance as well, which makes it an incredibly capable and reliable gun. The T41 shell it fires is one of the most consistent shells I have ever used. It travels almost 1000 m/s, and has plenty of explosive filler to one shot almost anything you penetrate. So not only is it easy to aim, it does its' job of knocking out tanks perfectly. However, the tank is horrifically slow due to all of the added armor, and the reload is a bit slower than most of the enemies you come across.

This tank is everything a heavy tank should be. A tank with armor you can rely on, and a powerful gun that will consistently send your foes back to the hangar. It does wonderfully at all ranges, so even though it is fairly slow, it can fit around multiple play-styles.
