Facebook Threatens to Quit Europe: SORRY... WHAT? Will Facebook Leave Europe? - TLDR News

Following a court ruling, Facebook seems to have threatened to pull out of the European Union - removing their products from the European Market. It's all about data privacy and the EU's higher data standards - essentially the EU doesn't trust Facebook to move their data back to the US without it being intercepted.
