Neil Innes "A Short Blues" Twice (1973 and 1976)
Here are two live recordings of one of my favorite Neil Innes songlets. The first was recorded in either Liverpool or London in either late 1972 or early 1973* and released in February 1973 on 'GRIMMS,' the debut album by Grimms (Island HELP 11). The second was recorded in April 1976 on New York City's Broadway and rush-released on May 3 on the US-only LP 'Monty Python Live at City Center' (Arista AL 4073).
