While I used pompoms for my toddler to drop into a paper towel roll, you could also use leftover caps from applesauce pouches, buttons, or anything else that will fit into the tube. Using materials that would otherwise be thrown away is a great way to save money and get creative as you help your child meet all of their milestones. It doesn’t have to be complicated; this is probably one of the simplest activities I have made for him and took no time to assemble. Of course, other crafts are fun for me to make and for him to use, but sometimes the simplest things can entertain them for a long time.
