Chip-8 Interpreter in C# - 12/15 - Attempting Audio
You know how they say the last 10% can sometimes take 90% of the time? That's what happens when we move to SDL. The remaining half of the series is pretty much only dealing with SDL drawing, audio, key bindings, etc. However, it's all part of the fun of making the emulator!
Sorry about the music mixed in with the video. I've learned very quickly that I should have recorded with no music, since it can be distracting. Unfortunately, this entire series is already recorded, so it isn't possible for me to strip the music out of the audio channel. However, for future series I will record without music. Thanks for your understanding, and for watching my videos :D
This is part 12 in a series of videos of me working on a Chip 8 interpreter/emulator/simulator. I'm interested in emulation, and have decided to record my attempts at putting together different types of emulators, starting with what appears to be one of the simplest cases.
The chip 8 series will contain approximately 15 videos or so. They've already been recorded over a 2 day period, and now I am editing them a little bit. I'll try to release one video per day.
