Scott proposes to his long time girlfriend Julia on July 4, 2020. This video shows the behind the scenes set up of the proposal, the full surprise, Julia's reactions and her recap of their special day. Get ready to be on an emotional rollercoaster ride from start to finish.

BACKGROUND: Scott and Julia have been happily dating for over 6 years. As they grow older, plans of their future together become more real... Although both are ready to take their relationship to the next level, Scott has been giving Julia the impression that he is not ready for marriage just yet.

Julia was expecting this day to be a celebration for my combined birthday with Scott. Little did she know, that was all part of the plan... and in reality this event was a surprise proposal for her AND celebration of their engagement (if she says yes...).

Our objective was simple... get Julia out of the house for as long as possible and gather their closest loved ones to help set up the proposal. With the help of close friends, Shayna and Angela, Scott was able to pull off a surprise proposal that Julia will remember for the rest of her life.

Scott and Julia are incredibly selfless people, two of my favorite humans. I am extremely honored and happy to share this special moment with you. ENJOY!

ACCESSORIES: This video was recorded using a Go Pro Hero 5 and iPhone XS Max with the help of the DJI OSMO Mobile 2 Gimbal Stabilizer. All edits were made with iMovie. No external microphone was used in this video, please excuse the poor audio during the proposal speech.

NOTE: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, friends and family in this video quarantined and social distanced for the months prior to this day. Face masks were worn to protect each other and prevent the spread of the virus. Please know that masks were only taken off (by choice) during the rose tunnel scene to show love and support as Julia and Scott make their way down the path. We understand the risk of this and are now back in quarantine practicing social distancing as we continue to fight against this virus.
