- Front seal (11117511395)
01:46 Install radial crankshaft seal
- Radial Seal (11117511396)
03:13 Sealing crankcase lower section (bedplate)
- Crankshaft seal has a groove on both left and right sides
- Align grooves centrally to housing partition
- Install new injection valves for liquid sealing compound (11117506546)
- Using primer and liquid sealing compound for sealing engine block.
- Primer Loctite 171000 4ML (83197515683)
- Loctite 193140 6ML (83190439030)
- First insert brush with primer as far as possible into grooves on radial seal
- Coat housing partition on engine block
- Then push the liquid sealing compound until liquid exudes from the grooves of both seals
- Do not press too hard to prevent the syringe from breaking down!
- Be patient! The liquid seal runs better in warm ...
- Primer binds the sealing compound and prevents it running out
