an artist, this interview that we're about to undertake

You know, that's that's not hyperbole is what I'm trying to say.
That that's I really feel that in my heart of hearts, why

welcome to the show here Jesse Krieger Jesse, Thank
you so much for taking time to chat with the audience here.
I just want to start with.
The main question is what are N. F. T. S and why
should authors and creatives care? Sure thing.
Great to be here, Daniel and N. F. T. S, as you
mentioned, a non fungible token, it's a digital asset that
exists on the Blockchain which you own and control
and can sell independent of a publishing company,
independent of a retail platform like amazon as well.
And why should you care about that now?
The book publishing industry overall grew about 6%
last year and people are celebrating but N. F. T.
Sales went from 350 million in 2022 year to date 20
21/2 billion dollars of N. F. T. Sales.
That's like Almost 10 X versus 6% growth.
You can be a part of this emerging story and this new
technology and trend with your books and I think that's
why you should care.
Absolutely. And that's obviously I know the question
begs the answer but the great thing about this
technology is it all exists on the on the Blockchain.
Right, jesse, correct? So yeah, the Blockchain in this
case with Power Fan, we're working on the ethereum Blockchain.
And what that means is there's smart contracts that
govern the relationship and sales and royalties.
So and we'll walk through this in a second. But if I sell
my book as an N. F. T.
And that unlocks a training program and maybe a
personal call with me, that transaction can exist outside
of a publishing company, outside of a retail like amazon
and directly between you and your fans and readers.
Also you're compensated instantly. Which you know for
anyone that's had a publishing deal even in the best
case you're waiting months.
As well as secondary market sales have a royalty that
you can receive as well.
So to illustrate that if I create my book as an N. F. T.
That includes special bonuses.
Daniel buys it for $100 and then he sells it for 1000 a
percent of that $1000 sale can flow back to me and
every subsequent transaction.
Something else that you can't do or replicate with print books.
Even e books meaning capture a percent of secondary market sales.
