I have performed thousands of spine surgeries, to this date I did not have any patients reporting a noticeable limitation of mobility compared to before surgery. As a mater of fact, most of my patients notice improvement in their mobility. This is likely due to eliminating pain and the ability to use other segments and joints now, pain free!
