They improve diversity.

One of the big five banks came to us looking to boost diversity in their business banking team.
Instead of relying on outdated hiring methods, we asked:
What actually makes a great business banker?

Once we had a clear definition of the behavioural traits and cognitive strengths required—
we helped them shift to what we call hiring off a “skinny resume.”

Not GPA. Not job titles. Not keywords.
Just: is this person wired to thrive in this role?

And that changed everything.
The candidate pool got bigger.
Bias went down.
Diversity went up.

That’s the power of hiring based on potential—not just paper.
