I. Each Person Should Be Married (V. 1-5)

A. Marriage does not satisfy sinful desires but satisfies God-given desires that are vulnerable to corruption.

B. Marriage does not cancel sex but purifies it.

II. It’s Good to Remain Single (V. 6-16)

A. Singleness is not a person’s failure to marry, but Christ’s victory over the flesh.

B. Marriage is not about getting what we want, but about giving what someone else needs.

C. Marriage is not a curse, it is sanctifying.
