Macaroni and Cheese - Bonita's Kitchen

Welcome to Bonita's Kitchen! Today we will be making Macaroni and Cheese.

Ingredients:
2 Cups Elbow Noodles
2 or 3 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
2 Cups Milk
1 Cup Starch Water
2 Tbsp Butter
Pinch of Black Pepper
1 Tsp Onion Powder
1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder or 2 fresh garlic cloves
Pinch Sea Salt for noodles
Drizzle Olive Oil as needed 
2 Tbsp Flour

Prep Time: 10 Minutes, Bake Time: 20 or Golden Brown, pre-heat oven 350º
Method:

1 In a medium saucepan half full of hot water and a pinch of sea salt, bring to a boil then add elbow noodles.
2 Boil noodles until part cooked or 5 to 7 minutes, under cook noodles, because they will continue cooking in the oven, then take 1 cup of starch water from saucepan.
3 Strain water from noodles in saucepan and put a drizzle of olive oil over the elbow noodles, set aside.
4 In a deep frying pan add butter, seasonings and flour let fry until it starts for brown, then add starch water and milk stirring continuously.
5 When flour paste starts to thicken add 1 cup cheese or more, continue stirring until all combined.
6 You will need a square pan, add noodles, sauce mix together then top with 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese.
7 Bake in a 350º preheated oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown, remove from oven serve with dish of choice.
