Various shots of the Crystal Palace collapsing in fire in 1936. L/S shots of the tower in 1941. Various shots of dynamite being placed at base of tower. The charge explodes and the tower falls in a cloud of dust. Various shots workmen removing steel from the wreckage. L/S of the Tower being demolished by the explosive, taken in slow motion. The steel will be recycled as part of war effort.
